Saffir
creative practice
Written by Petrus Kemme (curator DeSingel arts centre)
Saffir is the joint practice of Ilse De Sutter and Matilde Everaert, who met while studying architecture in Ghent.
The shared name refers to the importance of aesthetics in their work. Both in space and image, Saffir creates careful
compositions as the scenery for life with attention to colour, texture and materials.
