Ilse De Sutter
Graduated with a master degree in architecture from KU Leuven in 2015. After graduating, Ilse started working at META Architectuurbureau (Antwerp).
In 2019, she relocated to New York and joined the team at MODU architecture. Together with Matilde, Saffir was founded in 2020, merging our individual practices and taking on new projects together. Since 2023, Ilse is teaching a design studio at KULeuven - Sint Lucas.
Matilde Everaert
Graduated with a master degree in architecture from KU Leuven in 2015. Matilde started working as a freelance architect in 2018 after previous work experiences at Bovenbouw Architectuur (Antwerp) & Studiobont (Ghent). As of 2020, Matilde co founded Saffir with Ilse. Besides Saffir, Matilde leads a studio at KULeuven since 2018 and is also active as a printmaking artist.
